Estelle Colter

Estelle Colter, age 91, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in St Louis, Missouri on July 4, 1931 to William and Stella Pleis (nee Rogers). She was married to Marvin Colter for 50 years.

Estelle was a selfless person. She was giving, kind-hearted, compassionate. She always had a special connection with children. Estelle spent over half of her life in the service industry serving as a waitress, cook. hotel manager, and customer service representative over the course of her career. She and Marvin owned the Jefferson Bar and Grill in Kirkwood for 20 years.

Estelle is survived by her Daughter, Patricia Colter of Saint Charles, MO; Two Sons, Kenneth (Helen L.) Colter of Maplewood, MO, David (Diane) Colter of Saint Charles, MO; Three Granddaughters, Heather (Jeff) Boulicault, Haley (Matt) Colter, Amanda (Nicholas) Owens; Three Grandsons, Ryan Colter (Katie), Matthew (Chelse) Colter, Adam (Lily) Colter; Seven Great-Granddaughters, Penelope Colter, Sophia Robinson, Savannah Boulicault, Brooklynd Matthies, Bradleigh Hackett, Emma Harms and Addison Lantz; Three Great-Grandsons, John Colter, J.D. Boulicault, Kayden Matthies; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Marvin Colter; Father, William Pleis; Mother, Stella Pleis; Son, John William Colter.

Visitation will be Monday, January 16, 2023 from 9:00am until 10:00am at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. The funeral ceremony will be held immediately following at 10:00am also at Newcomer St. Peters Chapel. A Graveside service will immediately follow at 11:45am at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
