Eugene Eric Rogalski

Eugene Eric Rogalski age 58, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2018. He was born on September 30, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Eugene and Maria (Schmucker) Rogalski. On November 21, 2004 Eugene married Mary Monroe.

Gene worked at Tech Manufacturing for 33 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in his younger days. However, through the years, Gene began to transition into being more of a boater on the Mississippi River. He owned his own boat that he moored at the Yacht Club of St. Louis. He particularly enjoyed being on his boat and the water during his summer weekends.

Two years ago, Gene rescued his four-legged friend Roscoe. Roscoe became a wonderful and loyal companion to Gene during his illness.

Along with his loving wife, Eugene is survived by his sons, Daniel (Whitney Robbins) Rogalski, Richard Rogalski, Brian (Samantha) Dougherty, James Rogalski, Nicholas (Kate) Doughtery and Kevin Dougherty; daughter, Kelly (Thomas) Kanning; sisters, Wega Kennon, Elizabeth (David) Atkins; grandchildren, Jacob Anderson, Bradyn Anderson, Alayna Anderson, Kenzie Rogalski, Taylor Hill, Leland Rogalski, Alexis Kanning and Maxwell Dougherty; and uncle, Walter Rogalski. Eugene will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Dallas Kennon.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 4:00 pm. to 7:30 pm. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at Newcomers.
