Eula M. Berrong

Eula M. Berrong, age 88, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022. She was born in Arab, Missouri on April 26, 1934 to Oscar and Maymie Walk (nee Burnley).

Eula was married to her husband, Elvie, for 71 loving years. She was always there to care for her family including anyone else she considered family. She devoted much of her time to caring for her son, Randy, and volunteering in the many activities he involved himself in. From doing hair in her basement to making sure the church was ready for Sunday services, she was a pillar of her community and valued by all.

Eula is survived by her husband, Elvie Berrong; her daughter, Sandra J. (Ricky) Duncan; her son, Randy E. Berrong; her grandchildren, Jeremy L. (Amanda L.) Duncan and Cassidy M. Duncan; her great-grandchildren, Madeline L. Duncan, Kiley M. Duncan and Sincere T. McDaniels; and her sisters, Pauline Kibler and Carol (Mikel) Hamlin; She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oscar A. Walk; her mother, Maymie Walk; her sisters, Maxine (Red) Davis, Jean (Curtis) Hanner, and Christine (Lowell) Berrong; her brother, Claude (Lawatta) Walk; and her brother-in-iaw, Richard Kibler.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral service will take place on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 am at Newcomer, Saint Peters Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Saint Louis.
