Eva Jane Snider (nee Massey), (October 2, 1943 - April 8, 2022) was born in Flora, IL to the late Charles and Ada Massey (nee Richardson).
Eva worked in the hospitality industry her entire life. She spent many years at Holiday Inn, and later with her own business, The Kite Room Lounge. She had an incredible work ethic, a gift she instilled in her children. She was loved by all, and was a care giver to anyone who needed her. She always told people to call her "mom", "grandma", or "aunt". To Eva, everyone was family. She always had a place for you at her home, whether it was to stay the night, come for dinner, or because you needed a place to live for a while.
Eva loved spending time with her children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved playing bingo and, on occasion, slot machines, spending time in Branson with Bill, and shopping.
Eva is survived by her five children from her first marriage to Joseph Ralph Prichard (January 6, 1962 to his passing on April 2, 1979), daughters, Deanna (Bob) Chambers, Linda (Tony) Leah, and Carolyn (Tim) Harting and sons, Joseph (Connie) Prichard, Jr. and Michael Prichard.
Eva married William Snider on April 3, 1985 and was blessed with a bonus family. She and William were married for 36 years before his passing on June 29, 2021. She is survived by his children, Cheryl (Carl) Harris, Donald Snider, James (Tara) Snider, and Joel (Rebecca) Snider.
She is also survived by sisters, Elaine McNair and Jene Lindaman, brother, Butch Massey, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Joseph Ralph Prichard (dec. April 2, 1979) and William Snider (dec. June 29, 2021), son, James Prichard, step-son, Albert Snider, and five siblings.
