Fred M. Franklyn

Fred M. Franklyn, age 92, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 4, 1930 to Harry and Clara Franklyn (nee Rizzuti).

Fred is survived by his daughter-in-law, Maureen Franklyn; grandchildren, Keri (Ross) Detwiler and Daniel Franklyn; great-granddaughters, Victoria and Alexandra Detwiler; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen June Franklyn; son, Dave Franklyn; parents, Harry and Clara Franklyn; and brothers, Harry, Raymond, and Leonard Franklyn.

Fred served his country with honor in the United States Army. He then went on to enjoy a lengthy career working for Hussman Ref. Fred was also an accomplished wood worker, and he loved spending time at his family's ranch in Cherryville, Missouri. Fred especially loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. Fred was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
