An avid writer, Gary found solace and expression in poetry and musical score, using words to convey the depth of his thoughts and emotions. His creativity flowed generously through his writing, capturing moments and feelings that resonated with others.
Gary’s legacy extends to his loving wife, Mary Areno, who brought him immeasurable joy and support throughout their life together. He is also survived by his mother, Susan (Lou) Dauten, whose influence shaped the compassionate and intelligent man he became. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry forward his memory and spirit.
While Gary's passing leaves an unfillable void, he is greeted in the afterlife by his cherished grandparents, Walter and Mary Bunt, as well as his dear Aunt Sissy and uncles, Wally and Larry, his Father-In-Law, Frank Tocco and his Brother-In-Law Joseph Tocco, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
