Gene Olson

Gene Wayne Olson, age 87, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Havre, Montana on July 18, 1936 to Walter and Mildred Olson (nee Knutson). 

Gene was a Accountant at Chase Packaging for over 30 years. He was married to Helen Olson for 66 years.

Gene was an avid antique collector. He loved old cars, antique guns, and coins.

Gene is survived by his wife, Helen Olson, two daughters, Debby (Kevin) Chandler, Lynda (Chris) Mashburn; four grandchildren, Marissa Panzeri, Justin Gurnett, Lucas Chandler, Nathan Mashburn; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Olson; father, Walter Olson; son, Michael Olson; brother, Charles Olson. 

A celebration of life will be held on August 11, 2024, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376
