George B. Henderson, age 82, of Wildwood, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.
George was born in New Athens, Ohio on December 29, 1939 to Thomas Blake and Mary Alice Henderson. Beloved by many, George was unfailingly kind and was a gentle presence to all who knew him.
George and his soulmate Lois married on August 20, 1960 in Cadiz, OH.
George is survived by his wife of 61 years Lois Henderson; Sister Sally Johnson; Children Brad (Julie) and Sarah Lynn; Grandchildren Blake (Megan), Andrew (Megan), Brooke, David, and Scott (Taylor); Great-Grandchildren Brooks and Lindsay.
George was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Blake and Mary Alice Henderson; and brother-in-law Dr. E.C. Johnson.
George enjoyed spending time with his family and participating with them in their activities. He also loved being at his lake house in Cuba, MO.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church (14820 Conway Road, Chesterfield) on April 22, 2022. Visitation at 10am with service at 11am. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the church Commons to receive friends and celebrate George's life. In the month of May, a service will be held at The Presbyterian Church of Cadiz in Cadiz, OH before burial in New Athens, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Indian Hills Lake Restoration Committee
