George L. Hill

George Lee Hill, age 90, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He was born in Wellston, Missouri on November 20, 1926 to George and Mary Hill (nee Ford). George was a Carpenter, a member of Carpenters Union Local 47 and an Army Veteran of World War II. He married the former Doris Russell on January 10, 1948 in St. Louis

George is survived by his wife of 69 years Doris D. Hill of Saint Charles, MO; 3 children, Michael (Sherry) Hill of St. Peters, MO Jeffrey (Late Mischell) Hill of Overland, MO and Linda (Patrick) Foster of St. John, MO; 2 brothers, Jackie (Late Gloria) Hill of Foristell, MO and William Dale (Late Regina) Hill, both of St. Charles, MO; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Jane Betts.

Funeral Services will be 12 Noon Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment, with Military Honors, will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
