Gerald Mortenson

Gerald "Jerry" Mortenson, age 64, of Saint Charles, MO passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020. He was born in Ortonville, MN to Virgil and Louise Mortenson (nee Lacombe).

Gerald is survived by his wife, Kathleen Mortenson of 26 years, brother, Brian (Sue) Mortenson, step-sons, Steven (Susan) Lindenberg, David (Amy) Lindenberg, step-daughter, Julie (Matthew) Ballard, and, grandchildren, Jacob Lindenberg, Hannah Ballard, Gretchen Lindenberg, Maya Ballard, and Emma Lindenberg; uncle, cousin and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Mortenson; father, Virgil Mortenson.

Jerry loved all things electronic, as well as music and enjoyed sharing his musical talents in choir and running the sound-board at church. He was active with the Passion Play in New Melle for many years.

A Memorial Service will be held at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church, 907 Jungermann Rd., St. Peters, MO 63376 on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10:30 am. Masks and social distancing are required and appreciated. Family is being serviced by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
