Gerald Gene Ritko, age 79, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Streator, Illinois on July 22, 1942 to Michael and Herminia Ritko (nee Niedzweicki).
Gerald worked at Commonwealth Edison for 30+ years. He was married to Phyllis Ritko for 51 years.
Gerald is survived by his Wife, Phyllis Elaine Ritko; Daughters, Tina Ritko, Shannon (Mark) Cunningham, and Shawn Stephens; Son, Shane Ritko; Grandson, Declan Cunningham; Granddaughter, Teagan Cunningham; Granddaughter, Dylan Cunningham; Grandson, Curran Stephens; Grandson, Noah Stephens; Brother, Dennis (the late Michelle) Ritko; Sister, Linda (Steve) Baker and a host of other family members and friends.
Gerald was a proud Marine. He was a great lover of sports including boxing and baseball. He loved to travel and was also an avid hunter and fisherman. Gerald dearly loved his family and friends. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Michael Ritko and Mother, Herminia Ritko;
