Giries "George" Abounader, age 79, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. He was born in Haifa, Israel on October 25, 1942 to Maroun and Kaffa Abounader (nee Shamoun ).
George is survived by his beloved wife Jackie Abounader; children Hana Abounader, Hany (Michelle) Abounader; step-children Tammy (Shawn) Piotrowicz and David (Laura) Ouhl; grandchildren Isaac Abounader, Gus Abounader, Louis Abounader, Cecelia Abounader, Emma Piotrowicz, Jack Ouhl and Gwen Ouhl; brothers Milad (the late Jean) Abounader and Elias (Nadera) Abounader. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Maroun and Kaffa Abounader; son Johnny Abounader; brothers Nader (wife Nijmeh survives) Abounader and Mansour Abounader; and sister Anna (husband Nadim survives) Khalil.
