Gladys C. Volz

Gladys C. Volz, born on June 2, 1929, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025. She was a beloved member of her family and a cherished friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.

Gladys is survived by her son, Richard D. Volz; her daughter, Diane M. Volz; one grandchild, Michael R. Volz; and a great-grandchild, Savannah L. Volz. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will remember her warmth, kindness, and the joy she brought into their lives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Oliver Robert Sykes; her mother, Hattie Mae Sykes; and her late husband, Donald H. Volz. Each of these individuals held a special place in her heart, and their memories will forever be cherished by her family.

Services for Gladys C. Volz will take place on January 23, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO. The visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will occur at St. John's Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, starting at 12:45 PM.

The family invites all those whose lives she touched to honor her memory and celebrate her life during this time. Gladys C. Volz will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
