Glenda Jungers

Glenda Jungers, a cherished figure in her community, passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 14, 1944, Glenda's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family and her dedication to serving others.

Glenda was a proud member of the St. Peters Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and served as the President of the St. Peters Senior Advisory. She also took an active role as the Captain of the National Night Out, channeling her passion for safety and community engagement. Glenda's involvement with the Fire Academy further exemplified her commitment to making a difference and supporting her community during times of need. An animal lover at heart, she was known for her compassion and kindness, qualities that endeared her to many.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Carol (John) Danowski of Saint Charles, MO, who will carry forward the values Glenda instilled in her family. Glenda is also survived by her cherished grandchild, Danielle Nicole Danowski, who brought immense joy to her life. Her legacy continues through her three sisters, Kathy (Mike) Cunningham, Annette (Charles) Hyslop, and Brenda (Rodney) Rees, as well as her sister-in-law, Melva Inman. Glenda's family extends to a host of other family members and friends who will remember her warmth and generosity.

Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Inman, her mother, Ella Mae Inman, and her brother, Jimmy Inman. Their memories will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who loved her.

A visitation to honor Glenda will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters on April 25, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on April 26, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, with an interment at St. Charles Memorial Gardens at 11:30 AM. Each of these moments will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together to celebrate Glenda's life and legacy.

Her spirit will forever be remembered, and her contributions to those around her will live on in the hearts of many.
