Glenna's dedication to her craft was evident in her long and varied career. She touched the lives of many as a cook at the Rest Home in Princeton, Missouri, where her culinary skills and warm spirit provided comfort to those in need. After this, she spent over 25 years as a machinist, showcasing her remarkable ability to combine precision with artistry.
An alumna of Princeton High School, Glenna graduated in 1973 and continued her educational journey at Linn Technical College in Linn, Missouri. It was here that she further honed her skills, cultivating a strong work ethic and a thirst for knowledge that would serve her throughout her life.
Glenna's passions extended far beyond her professional endeavors. A gifted pianist, she found solace and joy in music, often sharing her talents with friends and family. Her love for sewing and various crafts reflected her creative spirit, allowing her to express herself in beautiful and meaningful ways. Glenna’s generous nature shone brightly as she often devoted her time and energy to helping others, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her brother, Gary (JoAnn) Kaufman, who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude. Glenna’s legacy will be held close by her family and friends, who will remember her bright smile, heartfelt laughter, and the warmth she exuded.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn (Dorthy) Kaufman, whose values of kindness and community she exemplified throughout her life. Their love and teachings continued to guide her as she embraced life with open arms and an open heart.
