Glennes Singleton, age 82, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 in O Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Braggadocio, Missouri on January 27, 1941 to Quiford and Florence Singleton (nee Jordan).
Glennes was the owner of his own janitorial and lawn care businesses for 40 + years. He was married to Carol Singleton for 62 years.
Glennes loved his church and his grandkids. He was a great animal lover. Glennes was an avid NASCAR and St. Louis Cardinal fan.
Glennes is survived by his Wife, Three Sons, Glenn (Glenda) Singleton II, Gordon Singleton, Shayne (Christine) Singleton; Four Granddaughters, Brittnie Singleton, Alisha Singleton-Wolz, Aspen Singleton, Sara Singleton; Two Grandsons, Andrew Singleton, Duelly Singleton; Great-Grandson, Lincoln Wolz; Great-Granddaughter, Luella Wolz; Glennes was also loved by many Step-Grandchildren and Step-Great-Grandchildren just as much; Two Sisters, Tricia Singleton and Patsy Logan-Singleton; Three Sister-In-Laws, Donna Adams, Cathy Doerr. and Rose Glenn; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Quiford Glennes Singleton; Mother, Florence Beatrice Singleton; Two Brothers, David Singleton, Kenneth Singleton; Sister, Barbara Hasty; Three Brother-In-Laws, Slick Adams, George Doerr, and David Pattie.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at Lighthouse Church; 8759 Veterans Memorial Parkway, O'Fallon, MO 63366. A funeral ceremony will be held immediately following at 2pm also at Lighthouse Church. Interment will be private.
