Gordon R. Large

Gordon Ray Large, age 63, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in Creve Coeur, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on January 8, 1959 to Leon and Carol Large (nee Nelson).

Gordon worked for Harvestowne Irrigation for 32 years and in the Irrigation business for 37 years. All who knew him would tell you how skilled he was with his work. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Gordon was a devoted husband and an exceptional father. He loved his family deeply and they will miss him greatly.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Teresa Large; his children, Brandon M. (Kirsten) Large, Rachel M. (Justin) Large-Haenel, and Ashley R. Large; his mother, Carol P. Large; his sisters, Donna M. (Russ) Stein, Robin S. (Ronnie) Williams, and Judy G. Large; his brothers, Kenny D. (Fayetta) Large, and Tom A. (Bethany) Large; his step-mother, Vickie Large; his half-siblings; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Derek R. Large; his father, Leon C. Large; his brother, Darren M. Large.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, West County Chapel, 2211 Clarkson Road, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. A funeral service will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, West County Chapel. Interment will be private.
