Gregg Garrison
June 12, 1952 — November 4, 2020
Gregg "Gator" Garrison, passed away November 4, 2020. Beloved husband of Laura (nee Griesenauer) Garrison. Dear father of Gregg Garrison, Carolyn (Mike) Holden and Robert Swink Jr. Dearest brother of Rocky (Buff) Garrison and Garry (Nicole) Garrison. Dear uncle, cousin and friend of many. He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Katherine Garrison.
Gregg found much enjoyment in traveling with his wife Laura and they went on several cruises. Gregg attended SIU Carbondale with a full-ride scholarship in football. He also had a career in rugby and was an icon with the St. Louis Falcons Rugby Club. He enjoyed taking trips later in life with his friends playing golf. Gregg was a man of few words but when he spoke it was honest and straight forward. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will have a celebration of life, later to be announced. If desired, donations may be made to Backstoppers.org.
