Gregory Dean Hoffmeister, age 59, of Springfield, Illinois was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Springfield, Illinois. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 21, 1957 to Harold and Iris Hoffmeister (nee Clark).
Greg was a graduate of Berkeley High School and Data Control Institute, both of St. Louis, and a Computer Technician with St. Johns Hospital, Springfield IL. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, loved Bowling, Darts, Softball, and was a diehard Cardinal and Blues Fan.
Survivors include his Sons, Tyler Dean (Stephanie) Hoffmeister of Ballwin, MO and Joshua Lumsdon of Atlanta, GA; his parents Dean and Iris Hoffmeister of St. Peters, MO; a Sister, Sandra (Joe) Egertson of Des Peres, MO; Brother, Douglas (Bernadette) Hoffmeister of St. Louis, MO; his Fiancé, Patty Knight and her sons Trentin and Mitchell Knight of Springfield, IL; a Granddaughter, Scarlett Hoffmeister; and nephews Christopher (Alicia) Hoffmeister, Jordan Egertson and Samuel (Erin) Egertson.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 pm Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be prior to services Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, IL
