Gregory Glenn Winchell, age 65, of O'Fallon, Missouri, entered his eternal rest on February 9, 2021. Greg was the loving husband of Sarah for 42 years and beloved father of Lisa (Steven) Ottolini, Elizabeth Winchell, Andrea Winchell, Aimee (Sam) Bishop, Matthew Winchell, and Margaret Winchell. Affectionately known as "Poppy", he was grandfather to Harrison, Eleanora, Benjamin, Jonah, Eden, Alfie, Thomas, Jameson, Elaina, and Axel. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Peggy of O'Fallon, Missouri, as well as his brothers, Jeffrey (Angie) of Texas, Doug (Jane) of Tennessee, Brian (Harry) of California, and Scott (Shannon) of Alabama, along with many nieces and nephews.

Greg loved music and apprenticed to become a piano technician at a young age. He eventually become a master technician and loved working with Steinway Pianos. Greg tuned pianos for forty years, working with some of the world's best performers at various performance halls including The Touhill at UMSL, Webster University, and several colleges throughout St. Louis. He also loved teaching music at DaySpring School of the Arts in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Greg was an active member of New Covenant Church for many years serving as a worship leader and Sunday School educator. He was a lover of all televised sporting events. His kindness and compassion uplifted everyone he met, and his dedication to excellence touched many lives.
