Gretchen Emma Bartig, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019. She was born June 22, 1932 in St Louis, MO the daughter of Fred and Margarite Fansin.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a zest for reading, especially murder mysteries and the St Louis Post Dispatch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Louis. She leaves behind her daughter Meg Bartig, three grandsons; Duncan (Molly), Connor and Shane, and a brother Fred Fansin.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church St Charles, MO, with funeral services starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
