Helen Marie Knisley, age 92, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Wentzville, Missouri. She was born in Monroe, Michigan on September 24, 1927 to Troy and Della Turner (nee Goins).
Helen was an avid reader…mysteries were her favorite. She liked to knit and crochet and was always interested in new crafts. She loved her family and loved spending time with her great-grandchildren Dominick and Gianna. Her smile lit up a room and she possessed an incredible sense of humor. She was kind…and generous…and a great friend and mother. Those of us who were lucky enough to know and love her will miss her terribly.
Helen is survived by her son, David E. (Cathy) Knisley; Grandchildren, Steve (Dawn) Knisley, Chad Mannisi, and Dea (Sam) Jones; her great-grandchildren, Dominick Jones, and Gianna Jones; and her daughters-in-law, Bea Knisley, and Denise Knisley. She will be greatly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Della Turner; two sons, Joseph L. Knisley Jr., and Keith L. Knisley; and a grandson, Joseph Knisley.
