Helen Marie Marchbanks of Saint Charles, MO went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at the age of 83.

Beloved widow of the late Harvey Marchbanks; Cherished daughter of the late Burl Ambrose Fielder and Cecil Marie "Dude" Fielder (neeColeman); devoted mother of Linda (Steve) Polkinghorne and Rob Marchbanks; loving grandmother of Elizabeth (Jean Paul) Soto, Christina Black, Tiffany (Scott) Marquart, Amanda (Dustin) Rothrock and Fred Polkinghorne; loving great-grandmother of Cameron Bradshaw, Kayla Bradshaw, Karlie (Steven) Grant, Gabrielle (Cody) Buckman, Heidi Soto, Ashlyn Rothrock, Ava Rothrock, Amelia Rothrock, Eliana Marquart and Antonio Marquart; loving great-great grandmother of Genevieve Buckman, Elias Buckman, and Remington Grant; Granny to many other precious children she loved. Beloved sister of Mancy Wilburn. Preceded in death by her parents; son Harvey Jr.; son Larry; grandson Steven Polkinghorne; brothers Bill Fielder and Donald Fielder.

Helen was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of St. Peters MO. She was a former member of the Orchard Farm Baptist Church and Ridgecrest Baptist Church in St. Charles MO; and Water Tower Baptist Church in St. Louis MO. She previously served as Nursery Director and Sunday School teacher. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was always eager to serve Him.

Helen retired from Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company after 30 years of service. She had also worked at RC Can Company, Bussman Fuse, and other companies within the St Louis area.

Helen was born on October 8th, 1936, in Portageville MO. She was raised on a cotton farm in southeast Missouri. Helen developed a strong work ethic, from a young age, picking cotton alongside her parents and siblings. Helen attended school in Bragg City MO and Gideon MO. She completed her GED and graduated from the Parkway School District in May 2000. Helen married the love of her life, Harvey, in 1950. She and Harvey moved to the St Louis area where they made their home and raised their children. She loved her husband, children, and grandchildren dearly. Helen's family was everything to her. She cherished her friends, especially her brothers and sisters in Christ. Helen will be missed dearly by everyone who knew her.

Visitation will take place at from 9:00 until 11:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church of St. Peters, 3533 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters MO. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at the church. Interment will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, St. Ann MO immediately following the services.
