Herbert Minnix

Herbert Franklin Minnix, age 82, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024. He was born in Worthington, Missouri on July 2, 1941, to Cecil and Sylvia Minnix (nee Stober).

Herbert was an avid farm toy collector and seller. He loved doing farm toy shows with his family and friends. Herbert loved spending time at the casino and watching old westerns.

Herbert is survived by his three sons, Robert (Sheila) Minnix, Michael (Melissa) Minnix, Jerry Minnix; five grandchildren, Morgan Minnix, Brayden Minnix, Meredith (Cody) McMillin, Andrew Minnix, Adam Minnix; great-grandchild, Thea McMillin; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Minnix; mother, Sylvia Ruth Minnix; father, Cecil McCellan Minnix; four sisters, Rudy, Dolly, Alice Ann, and Cleda.

Visitation will be on June 4, 2024, from 4 pm until 8 pm, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A service will take place on June 5, 2024, at 10 am at the St. Peters Chapel. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on June 5, 2024, at 12:30 pm.
