Irene Nickelvich, age 99, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Orient, Illinois on May 1, 1923 to August and Mary Furjes (nee Barta).
Irene is survived by her son, Edward Lee (Rachelle) Nickels; Two nieces, Patricia (John) Barton and Barbara Turnball; nephew, Steven (Carol) Furjes; grand-niece, Donna (Eddie) Wessell; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Nickelvich; mother, Mary Furjes; father, August Furjes; three sisters, Margaret (John) Csjai, Helen Seper-Rhinehart, and Elizabeth Kuhn; two brothers, Gaze Furjes and Steve Furjes; and two nieces, Terry Stefen and Margaret Jenkins.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 11, 2022 at Forest Hill & Calvary Cemetery located at 6901 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131.
