Jack Lee Haney

Jack Lee Haney, beloved husband, father and grandfather, age 80 of St Peters, MO passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

 He was born in Plant City, FL to Melton Lee and Muriel Charlotte Haney (nee Hirte). A celebration of his life is to be announced. 

 Jack is survived by his sister Sandy Meystedt (nee Haney), his daughter Jeri S. Gustafson (nee Ott) and husband Joseph, sons, Terry V. Ott, James M. Haney, grandchildren, Eric A. (Heidi) Gustafson and granddaughter, Kaylee N. Gustafson. 

He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Verna Sue Haney, his parents, and brother-in-law Kermit (Moose) Meystedt.

Jack and Verna were united in marriage on the of our Lord, June 18, 1966. Jack enjoyed spending time with family. He loved to laugh, have a good time, hunting, fishing and trains. He was a railroad engineer for Frisco Railroad and Burlington Northern and retired after many years of service. Also, he enjoyed spending time with his railroad buddies. He will be deeply missed by a host of friends and relatives.
