Jacob Steven Wagner

August 27, 2021 — December 21, 2021

It is with great and immense sadness that the family of Jacob "Jake" Steven Wagner announce his passing. Jake was born on August 27, 1994 in St. Louis, Missouri, and passed to be with the Lord at the young age of 27 in Chandler, Arizona on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Jake will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Steve and Melissa Wagner, and his dear brother, Matthew (Matt) Wagner; his grandparents, Henry and Maxine Wagner. Aunts and uncles; Robin & Ron Huellinghoff, Ed Martin, Rodger Martin, Maritta & Gary Hawkins, Jeff Wagner, Pam & Chuck Novak, Hank & Sandy Wagner, and Laurie Wagner. Great aunts and uncles; Myron (Bubby) & Maxine Kemp, Monsignor Joseph Wagner, Mary Lou & Bob Sherwood, Roxie & Marty Weisbeck, Janet Wagner, Sister Kay Wagner, Robert & Marian Wagner, Ron & Chris Wagner and Judy England; many cousins, Amy & Alberto Alvarez, Brooklyn Wagner, Katelyn Wagner, Christine & Kyle Brown, C.J. Novak, Tracy Novak, Jessica & Patrick James, Alison Toepfer, Marjorie and Tom Braswell, Colin & Heather Toepfer, Kyle & Kielee Toepfer, Melanie & Jonathan Goldsmith, Savanah & Ryan Gray, Major Henry A. Wagner, Derek & Bianca Wagner, Ryan Wagner, Aiden Huellinghoff, Alex Huellinghoff, Zachary Martin, Samantha Martin, Shelly Martin and Melony Martin; as well as numerous extended family members and an amazing circle of friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Tom & Dolores England, Great Uncle Vernon (aka "Uncle Scoop"), Great Aunt Norma and Uncle Roy Degenhart, Great Uncle Charles England, Aunt Belinda Thompson, and cousins Tamra Lou Murphy, Kimberly Picciuolo, Beth Gidney and Jon England. All of whom he will likely be making laugh and smile in Heaven.

Jake was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Wildwood Missouri and would tell you that he served "3 ½ tours" at Missouri State University where he had the time of his life. He was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for cars, trucks, fishing, guns, RZRs and motorcycles. He had recently moved to Arizona to live in an area that had all the outdoor activities that he enjoyed and was blessed to have lived with his relatives, Dan & Patty Kennedy for several months until he moved into his own apartment. He had worked at Mungenast Lexus of St. Louis before his move to Arizona to join Penske Lexus of Chandler. He was a gifted salesman (boy, could he sell you a car) and we always said that if he couldn't make a living at selling cars, he should resort to becoming a comedian. He was so quick witted and could make you laugh until you cried. If you were a stranger to him, it wasn't long before you became his friend. Jake loved with his whole heart and shared a smile with his whole face. He was so loved and will be missed by all.
