Jacquelin Conn-Tidwell, fondly known as Jackie, passed away on July 19, 2024 in Bridgeton, Missouri. She was born on March 17, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, to her loving parents Edwin Lee Conn and Phyllis Ann Audrain. Jackie is survived by her loving daughter Kameron Stewart, who meant the world to her.
Jackie had a special bond with her family members. She cherished the moments spent with her siblings Michelle (Thomas) Dempsey, the late Shawn Audrain and Babette (the late Vincent) Westerman. She was also a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend. Jackie was known to give the shirt off of her back to anyone in need.
Jackie worked as a waitress at the Eat-Rite Diner on Chouteau in St. Louis for over 20 years. She was passionate about her job and loved meeting the people who would come through the diner. Over the years, Jackie became a staple in the diner and the regulars looked forward to her cooking and seeing her every time they stopped in for a bite to eat. She did encounter some challenging customers over the years but always proved that she was one tough cookie no matter the situation.
Jackie had a passion for Bingo. Her enthusiasm for the game brought joy to those around her and created lasting memories filled with laughter and excitement. She will be remembered not only for her love of Bingo and excellent waitressing but also for the kindness she showed towards others. Her warm smile and compassionate nature touched the lives of many.
A private celebration of life will be held at a park at a later date.
