James Joseph Dougherty, age 84, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in O Fallon, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 18, 1938 to James and Anne Dougherty (nee Dowling).
Jim loved his family and his friends above anything else. He spent his life helping anyone he could. Jim loved playing sports, he is in St. Charles County Hall of Fame for fast pitch softball. In his free time Jim enjoyed going boating and fishing. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, he loved joking with everyone and laughing.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sandra Dougherty; children, Nancy (Lloyd) Dressel, Judy (Thomas) Eigenseher, Jackie (Bob) Carpenter, Jim Dougherty; Brother, Patrick (Linda) Dougherty; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anne Dougherty; sister, Carole Foster.
