James Goodlow Elkins, age 68, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 28, 1949 to the late Goodloe and Marye Elkins (nee: Williams).
James was a Administrative Assistance at Modern Woodmen Of America for over 8 years, prior to working in the Insurance Industry, he served over 23 years in the Air Force. He was married to Kathleen Elkins (nee: Humphrey) for 49 years.
James is survived by his Loving Wife, Kathleen Elkins, Son, James A Elkins, Daughter, Suzanne M (Kevin) Koestner, Granddaughter, Aubrey K Koestner, Grandson, Nikolas J Koestner. He was greatly loved and will be truly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Goodloe Elkins; and Mother, Marye Elkins.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
A Graveside Service will be 12:30 pm Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.
Donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans, 9700 Page Ave, Suite 101, St. Louis, Missouri 63132 in James honor.
