James Anthony Greifzu

James Anthony Greifzu, age 77, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home in St. Charles, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 13, 1940 to the late Elmer and Marion Greifzu.

Loving husband of 55 years to Sandra Dianne Greifzu (nee Swyers). Proud and loving father of Pam (Todd) Hart, John (Jennifer) Greifzu and Scott (Cindy) Greifzu. Dear grandfather of Amanda (David) Pennewell, Brittany (Tyler) Haake, Matthew Hart, Eric Greifzu, Daniel Greifzu, Samuel Greifzu and baby to be Greifzu (due in October). Dear great-grandfather of Roman and Brooklyn Pennewell. Dear brother of Richard (Karen) Greifzu, Maryann (Bill) Rericker and the late Raymond (Vera) Greifzu, the late Thomas (Bobbie) Greifzu, and the late Robert Greifzu. Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jim was retired from Crown, Cork and Seal Company. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, golfing, traveling and most importantly time spent with his family. Jim was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, St.Peters Chapel 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
