James Raymond Joseph Hemmer

James Raymond Joseph Hemmer, age 83, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 24, 1937 to Raymond and Marie Hemmer (nee Manthy).

James was a Baker for most of his life and owned his own bakery named the Bread of Life Bakery for 20 years. He was also in the Bakers Union.

He was married to Charlotte Hemmer for 65 cherished years and was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

James liked to travel; he especially loved going on cruises; he had a great sense of humor that made people laugh. He was very mannerly and enjoyed old country classics.

James is survived by his Wife, Charlotte Hemmer, Daughter, Jamie S Leggett, Daughter, Cherie A Vaughn, Son, James L Hemmer, Daughter, Justine R Hemmer, Son, Jarrod D (Leah) Hemmer, Granddaughter, Jennifer S Leggett, Granddaughter, Andrea S (Samuel Teer) Leggett, Granddaughter, Karlee M Vaughn, Granddaughter, Alexandria R (Ross) Hill, Granddaughter, Kristina Hemmer, Grandson, Jason (Abby) Hemmer, Granddaughter, Ashley Hemmer, Granddaughter, Greta S Hemmer, Granddaughter, Harlow W Hemmer, Great-Grandson, Jordan Hemmer, Great-Granddaughter, Jayden Cigaran, Great-Granddaughter, Kaitlyn N Cigaran, Great-Grandson, Dominic Perry, Great-Grandson, Emmitt Beckman, Great-Grandson, Dexter Hemmer and he will also be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Raymond Hemmer; Mother, Marie Hemmer; Two Brothers, Leslie Paul Hemmer, and Robert Hemmer.
