James Nord, age 87, of Spanish Lake, MO passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at McClay Senior Center in St. Peters, MO. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 16, 1934 to Leonard and Althea Nord (nee Navy).
James was a Special School District employee for many years. He was married to Joan Nord for 65 wonderful years.
James is survived by Son, Roger J (Margo L.) Nord, Daughter, Gale F (David R) Tibbitts, Granddaughter, Jennifer K (Dr. James Ramsey) Ramsey, Granddaughter, Katherine M (Zach) Jackson, Grandson, Christopher A (Sarah) Nord, Granddaughter, Jessica Ann (Daniel) Gonzales, Grandson, Jonathan J Tibbitts, Granddaughter, Erin M Tibbitts, and a host of other family members and friends.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Joan M. Nord; Mother, Althea Nord; and Father, Leonard L Nord;
A short visitation will be on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am to include a time of family reflection from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376, (636) 875-1200. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63133.
