James Reiter

James Francis Reiter, age 70, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 in O Fallon, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 19, 1954 to Frank and June Reiter (nee Guibor).
James was a Senior Manager at Boeing for 41 years. He was married to Wanda Reiter for 51 years.

James graduated from Hazelwood Central High School. After graduating, he went on to earn his Bachelors and Masters degree from Sterling College. Following completion of his masters degree, James went on to work for Boeing for 41 years serving as a senior manager. James was an avid sports fan and had a special passion for Baseball, Soccer and Basketball. He could often be found rooting on his grandchildren as they participated in these three sports. When he wasn't cheering on his grandchildren, James could be found fishing, hunting, or riding his Harley Davidsons in his free time. Most of all, James dearly loved his family and spending time with them. He was a beloved husband, father, and pawpaw and will be dearly missed.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Wanda Reiter; daughter, Cheyanne (Thomas Hunn) Ramos; son, Rusty (Jennifer) Reiter; five grandchildren, Carson Ramos, Kylee Reiter, Sophia Ramos, Kennedy Reiter, Reese Reiter; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Frank Nicholas Reiter; Mother, June Caroline Reiter; Sister, Carol Moyer; and Step-Father, Paul Sample.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. A funeral ceremony will take place the following morning at 10:00am also at Newcomer St. Peters Chapel with Steve Cauley officiating.
