James Richard Richardson

James Richard Richardson, age 76, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at St Luke's Hospital. He was born November 14, 1942 in St Louis, MO the son of Lawrence and Alice (Elchelberger) Richardson.
James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, son, and friend. A hardworking family man, James did it all with a smile. A man that loved the simple things in life; to watch the sunrise on a deer hunt, the open road on his travels, the aroma of a hot cup of coffee in the morning, or the conversation at the poker table.
With a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on, James was always there when you needed him. He was as steady as the river flowed.
A true good ol' guy that gave his heart and asked for nothing in return. He is loved by all. He will be dearly missed.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Mike Richardson. He is survived by his wife Rose Marie (Cleaver) Richardson, a daughter Laura Richardson, three sons: Jimmy, Kyle and Vincent Richardson, two step-daughters: Jennifer Hanneken and Jackie Orcino, two step-sons: Tommy and Norman Peterson, two brothers: Larry Richardson and Chuck Prewitt a sister-in-law Nancy Richardson and several other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 2:00 ~ 6:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals ~ Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. St Peters, MO 63376.
