James P. Spalding, age 70, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020. He was born in Monroe City, Missouri on February 1, 1950 to David and Ethel Spalding (nee Delonay).
James was married to Paula Spalding for 40 years. Their blended family consisted of 3 sons and 2 daughters. Jim dedicated his life to working hard and turning his passion into a concrete construction business, Property Services Ind of St. Charles, MO. He touched the lives of many with his wit, charm and humor. He is deeply missed.
James is survived by his wife, Paula Spalding; his children, Jimmy Green, Brian (Windy) Spalding, David Spalding, Kelly (Shannon) Christen, and Robyn Spalding; and his grandchildren, Tyler Green, Jacob Spalding, Luke Spalding, Kiley Christen, Hunter Christen, and Mia Pelz; his siblings, Delores (Danny) Hill, Rosemary Duesterhaus, Mike (Sharon) Spalding, Betty Johnson, Teresa (Vern) Reece, and Nancy Spalding. his sister-in-law, Karon Spalding; and his dog Rosco. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Ethel Pauline Spalding and David Alfred Spalding; his brother, Vince Spalding; and brother-in-laws, Jim Duesterhaus, Jim Johnson.
A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 am on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Saint John Bosco Catholic Church, 12934 Marine Ave, St. Louis, MO 63146. The interment will be private.
