James R. "Jim" "UJ" "Jim Bob" "Springman" Springer, age 69, of St. Peters, MO, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024 at his home. He was born in St. Louis, MO on May 25th 1955 to Harry and Cora Springer (Ebert) and was a loving husband to Mary Dubach-Springer (nee Pollard).
Jim was a dedicated teamster and was known for his sense of humor, kindness, and being Santa Claus. He enjoyed hunting, raising Chocolate Labs for 20 years, fixing things, decorating Bessie, the life-size plastic cow on Mid Rivers Mall Drive. He is survived by his brothers Ed (the late Barb) Springer and Joe (Peggy) Springer; children, Jenny Ostmann and Chris Springer; step-son, Darren Dubach; grandchildren Jade, Callie, McKenzie, Hayden, Kaelynn, and Karson; nephews Mike and Brian; nieces, Sue Ellen, Lora, Katie and Meggie.
A Celebration of Life and 70th Birthday Bash are being held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Pezold Banquet and Meeting Center, 5701 State Route N, St. Charles, MO 63304. Please bring any memories or stories to be enjoyed by our guests. If you have a photograph of Jim, please bring a copy so it may be added to his Life Book for the family.
