James Steinmetz, age 56, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023. He was born in Hillingdon, United Kingdom on January 25, 1967 to Earl and Helene Steinmetz (nee Gertrud).
James was able to make a friend anywhere he went. He was a very caring person and would give anything to help others. James' pets were his children and he treated them like it. He loved his family deeply. All that met him will forever remember his sense of humor and loving nature. He will be greatly missed.
James is survived by his siblings, Katharina Kirn and, Denise (Jeremy) Dowdy; and her brother-in-law, Sean Clark. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earl James Steinmetz; his mother, Helene Annemarie Gertrud; sister, Darcy Clark; and his brother-in-law, Kevin Kirn.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm, all on Friday, January 5, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will follow at Ste. Philippine Cemetery in Saint Charles.
