Jan Brooks Marks, age 72, of Wentzville, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 5, 1948 to Jesse and Dessel Marks (nee Carroll).
Jan was a proud member of the Georgia Allman Brothers Band Association (GABBA).
He was a passionate accomplished musician for over 55 years and an amazingly loyal friend.
Jan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his bonus children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren.
He also adored his 2 cats Ammo and Molly and 2 dogs Chance and Lilly.
Jan is survived by his Wife, Leslie Braddock-Marks, Step-Brother, Ronald (Sherry) Haynes, Daughter, Rachel (Raul) Sierra, Step-Daughter, Laura Hanan, Step-Son, Mark (Kari) Hettel, Step-Son, Patrick (Veronica) Dolan, Granddaughter, Jayda Sierra, Granddaughter, Hailey Sierra, Grandson, Jorge Sierra, Granddaughter, Isabel Sierra, Grandson, Geoff (Erica) Hettel, Grandson, Matthew (Emiley) Hettel, Granddaughter, Destiny (Kory Beck) Dickerman, Granddaughter, Alyssa Hanan, Grandson, Alex Hettel, Granddaughter, Katie Hettel, Granddaughter, Granddaughter, Olivia Hettel, Granddaughter, Peyton Dolan, Granddaughter, Avery Hettel, Great-Granddaughter, Macey Hettel, Great-Grandson, Carson Beck, Great-Granddaughter, Ava Hanan and he will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Jesse B Marks; Mother, Dessel G. Marks; and Step-Mother, Florence Marks.
