Jane Ellen Rushin

Jane E. Rushin, age 78, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO on October 14, 1939 to Ira and Opal Morse and was married to Kenny Rushin for 58 years.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother, James R. Morse. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Susan) Rushin of St. Charles, MO., Kent (Kelley) Rushin of St. Peters, MO., grandchildren, Jackie (Kenny) Buelterman, Kyle and Kristopher Rushin, and many much-loved extended family members.

Jane was a long-time receptionist at Northwest Animal Hospital and an exemplary homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and dear friends, and cheering on the St. Louis Baseball Cardinals and the Mizzou Tigers. She will be deeply missed by many.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376. A memorial ceremony will immediately follow at Newcomer. A private interment will be held at Cochran Cemetery in Poplar Bluff, MO at a later date.
