Janet D. Ridenour

Janet D. Ridenour (MeMe) passed away at her home at the age of 89 on August 12, 2020. Janet was born in Winchester, Illinois on June 9, 1931 to Donald R. and Isabell Evans Price. She was married to Harlan (Jim) Wells on September 17, 1949 until he passed away on August 7, 2000. She married Leon Ridenour on August 17, 2001.

She is survived by her husband Leon Ridenour, her children Donna Novy, Gail Fox and Richard (Lisa) Wells and step-daughter Vickie (Peter) Wall, sisters Joan Grant and Sue (Don) Hartzell and brother-in-law Gerald Wells. Janet was preceded in death by her husband Jim, her parents Donald and Isabell Price and her sister Betty Adams.

MeMe was a very special person to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Before retiring MeMe worked for Watlow Electric. MeMe loved to crochet, every newborn received something special from her. She also loved to sew, read and lived to garden.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. The interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
