Janet Louise Steve

Janet Louise Steve, age 85, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 10, 1937 to William and Sarah Kannady (nee Aronoff).
Janet is survived by her children, Jill (the late Tim) Kelly and Michael (Amy) Steve; and grandchildren, Olivia Steve, Tim (Jessica) Kelly, Matt Kelly, and Alyssa (Brandon) Shellenberg. Also survived by her sister, Mary, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Kannady; mother, Sarah Kannady; sisters, Violet, Elsie, and Kay; and brothers, William, Robert, Norman, Ralph, Albert, and John.
Janet retired from Dierberg's Markets after a lengthy career. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan, and enjoyed playing Bingo. Janet was also a talented cook, and loved to bake for her family and friends. She was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Janet's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
