Jason Frye

April 3, 1971 — November 28, 2019

On Thanksgiving Day, our family was shattered with pain but we understand the meaning of gratefulness. We all knew a beautiful man for 48 years and we are so thankful for that. Jason was funny, he was beautiful and strong. He was a hockey player, a man who loved golf and he loved to fish. He loved to travel. And he loved to live life. He served his country as a Marine & served in Desert Storm. Jason experienced his Blues winning the Stanley Cup. Jason's blue eyes are mesmerizing. He had a killer wink. He shared that with so many of us. He had an unbelievable force about him and you couldn't help but love him. It will be possible that we will live on somehow knowing that we were so lucky, so blessed to have been a part of his world. "Do. Or do not. There is no try." As Jason would say, "May the force be with you."

He leaves us now but will forever be loved by his beloved daughter, Zoe who he called "Peanut", and her husband Sawyer, and they spent countless afternoons of movies, sushi and love. Jason always said Zoe was the most important person in his life and he would love her forever- and that lives in her heart.

Jason's days with his mom Sheila and his stepdad Bob were filled with good food and a lots of good stories. Jason was always sure to say "I love you mom" & he loved his time with "Papa".

One of Jason's best friends was his dad, Stephen, and their time together was filled with golf, hockey & the Star Wars movies. With his stepmom Sherri they all enjoyed creative Asian food that Jason lived to explore.

Jason's days with his sister Laura, her husband Scott, her children Max & his wife Kayla & their beloved Avery; Kelsey & her husband Rommel & her wonderful children Marlaina & Josie; and Alexander & Kristen were spent at Laura's for swim & holiday parties with family, sharing traditions, laughter & dancing to favorite songs.

Jason's days with his sister Angela and her daughter Quinn (who he called QRF) were filled with sincerity, love, laughter, Movie Lines & Music. Quinn loved her "Uncle Egg" who was a perfect role model.
Jason's fiancé, Melissa, was the love of his life & his best friend who he took spontaneous adventures with & their home with their sweet little dog Lulu. Jason was the happiest he had ever been.
Jason's love and humor reached so many people including Melissa's beautiful family, & they called him "Noodle." Jason & Melissa's daughter Jess & husband Matt, their beautiful children Anna and Michael, who made Jason a grandfather, daughter Bri & Tracey and son Kevin & Danielle will miss him greatly. Jason & Melissa loved Sunday Family Fun days which brought them all together for love, laughter & good times.
Jason will never be forgotten by his friends who he played golf, hockey and worked with & did life with.

Jason was greeted with loving arms by Grandma Marcella & Grandpa Harry Frye, and got to meet his Grandparents Bill and Helen Smith. We know when you see his blue eyes & magnetic smile, you're going to fall in love with him just like we did. Please take care of him for us.
Let's always remember Thanksgiving as a day to remember to give thanks and gratitude to knowing this wonderful man, Jason Michael Frye.
The family would like to ask everyone to wear Blues, Hockey, Golf or Star Wars shirts- what Jason would of loved. There will be a time set aside for anyone to share a story or special memory of Jason.
Flowers or contributions to the family for these unexpected expenses are appreciated.
