She was the eldest child of the late Thomas 'Don' and Blanche L. (Schmidt) Maurer of St. Louis County.
Mother of Dana Louise (Rigoni) Havens, Valerie Lynne (Rigoni) Lyons (Michael T.), Robert R.T. Rigoni (Tina), Leslie Beth Rigoni, and John Gerard Rigoni (Melissa).
Grandmother of 14 – Max (Julie) and Lily Havens, Cara (Lyons) Lovan (Austin) and Emilie (Lyons) Bingham (Ian), Kelsey (Finders) Jeppesen (Kyle) and Ryan Finders, Tyler (Cristal) Rigoni, Jordan Rigoni, and Annie Rigoni, Dominic Rigoni and Milo Rigoni, and in heaven Alyssa Marie Rigoni and two babies welcoming 'Mimi' in a joyous reunion.
Great-grandmother of 6 – Sophie and George Havens, Vivianna and Stella Rigoni, Lucy Lovan, and Sloane Jeppesen.
Sister and sister-in-law of Thomas D. Maurer Jr. (Sally), Michael Patrick Maurer III (Marilynn), Jerome F. Maurer, Daniel K. Maurer (Stephanie) and Brian Maurer Sr. (Karen), Michelle (Maurer) Deeken (Patrick) and Vicki (Maurer) Ammar (Ahmed).
Aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin to nearly 100 St. Louisans.
Jeaneane claimed three careers in her lifetime besides raising her family. She was a professional musician who sang on TV and stage with the Midwest Opera Company and was known locally performing musical comedy with the St. Louis Advertising Gridiron shows. As a musician, she was also a pianist, performer, teacher and composer.
She was an account executive in communications sales with several advertising agencies and a published prolific writer with a great interest in genealogy. At age 70, she wrote a massive nineteen-volume historical biography of her large family's lives in St. Louis.
