Jeanne Smith, 73, of St. Peters, MO, went to heaven on April 28th, 2024.
She was born August 1st, 1950, in St. Charles, MO, to Conrad and Maurelia Kuester. Jeanne attended Assumption School, graduated St. Dominic High School, and attended Sanford Brown Business College. She was married to Walter Smith on October 16th, 1971, and they lived in St. Peters, MO.
Jeanne worked in data entry at True Manufacturing and retired in 2021 after 43 years. She was an active member of Assumption Catholic Church her entire life. She loved the outdoors, traveling, and camping.
One wish that Jeanne had was for her three children to also attend Assumption School and graduate from St. Dominic High School, which was accomplished when Thomas graduated in 2001.
She is survived by her five brothers and sisters and her three children. Brothers and sisters are Thomas Kuester, of St. Peters, MO, Jim Kuester of St. Paul, MO, Carol Whitaker of St. Charles, MO, Mary Milner of O’Fallon, MO, and Patty Valora of Wildwood, MO. Children are Stephanie(Dwayne) Denton of Littleton, CO, Melissa(Kevin) Riley of Foristell, MO, and Thomas(Stephanie) Smith of Flint Hill, MO. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Daniel Denton, Adele Denton, Alison Denton, Lucy Smith, Caleb Riley, Lily Smith, Kristian Riley, and Henry Smith.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Conrad and Maurelia Kuester.
A visitation will be held in the back of Assumption Catholic Church on May 15th at 9:30AM with Mass immediately following at 10:30AM. A luncheon will take place at 12:00PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall next to the church grounds at 202 W. Third St, O’Fallon, MO.
