Jenevon M. Broyles

Jenevon Marie Broyles, age 87, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 18, 1936 to Kenneth and Earlean Cross (nee Bunda).

Jenevon dearly loved her family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. One of her favorite pastimes was taking pictures and creating scrapbooks. Oftentimes, she would spend hours going through old photographs to create the perfect album for her family to cherish. In her free time, she sewed beautiful quilts and delighted in passing them on to her loved ones. Jenevon would make ornaments and ceramics, as well. She frequently could be found in the kitchen trying out a new recipe that she discovered from the latest cookbook or show.

Jenevon is survived by her husband, Donald Broyles, two sons, Michael (Karen) Broyles and Kevin Broyles; three grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Stonebock, Brandon Broyles, and Danielle Broyles; two great-grandchildren, Katherine Stonebock and Johnathan Stonebock; brother, Kenny (JoAnn) Cross; nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth A. Cross; mother, Earlean Cross; son, Robert Broyles; and sister, Lunette Reader.

The visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 am with a Memorial Service following at 11:00 am Sunday, April 14, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Additional visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00pm at St. Peters Chapel.
