Jeremy Scott Velasco age 28, of Arnold, Missouri passed away on March 8, 2018. He was born on October 5, 1989, Bridgeton, Missouri to Philip Parks and Elizabeth (Patrick) Velasco Dolde.
Jeremy was employed as a machinist for Boyet Manufacturing. In his early childhood Jeremy enjoyed drawing pictures and continued throughout his life. As a result, Jeremy became an accomplished artist. Jeremy was also a craftsman and could build anything out of wood. He actually made his mom, Betsy, a small grandfather's clock in high school that she still cherishes today. Jeremy enjoyed writing, specifically poetry. He was an avid St. Louis Blues and Cardinals fan. On a more personal note, Jeremy was known for his obsession with eating jalapeno peppers and pickles. He would load up his favorite Bubba cheeseburgers and buffalo wings, the hotter the better.
Along with his parents, Jeremy is survived by his five sisters, Lauren E. Velasco of Bel Aire, Maryland, Sarah C. Velasco of Baltimore, Maryland, Emily M. Dolde of Surprise, Arizona, Heather M. Parks of Florissant, Missouri, Alexis R. Mason of Arnold, Missouri; two brothers, Andrew P. Parks of Florissant, Missouri, Kenneth J. Goodman of Arnold, Missouri; grandmother, Anne (Richard) Kukuljan of Troy, Missouri; grandfather, Andrew Velasco of St. Clair, Missouri; grandmother, LeeAnn (Joseph) Anders; great-grandmother, Bette Doyle of St. Peters, Missouri and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Arline Flacke.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Cremation will follow.
