Jerre Maxine Perrey

Jerre Maxine Perrey, age 88, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Missouri on June 27, 1928 to Max and Fern Turk (nee Cherry). She was a graduate of Lebanon High School, Lebanon, Missouri and attended Drury College in Springfield, Missouri. She married John D. Perrey on May 21, 1948 in Lebanon, Missouri. He preceded her in death on June 5, 2011. Jerre was member of St. Louis Family Church and had been an Office Administrator at Mideast Area Agency on Aging retiring in 1990. She loved cooking amazing meals for her family, backyard bird watching, and making holidays special for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, John D. "Skip" (Sheila) Perrey, Jr. of Newburgh, Indiana; Jennifer Perrey Kutscher of Saint Peters, Missouri, and Jill (Charles) LeBlanc of Ponte Vedra, Florida. Grandchildren, Camille (Doug) Fowler, Cherrie (Josh) Dye, Ricky (Lindsey) Kutscher, Ryan (Brenna) Perrey, Rachel (Chris) Durgin, Nikki (Joey) Hopkins and Kristina (Fred) Avila. Great-grandchildren, Adelise and Collette Perrey, Everly Durgin, Taylor Hopkins, Thatcher Kutscher, Kingston and Charlie Fowler, and Jayce Dye; and also her best friend "Bella".

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Beau LeBlanc, two sisters, Marjorie Conde and Norma Anderson and a brother Harlan "Bud" Turk.

A Memorial Gathering will be at 10:15 am Monday, March 13, 2017 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St Louis, MO 63125
