Jerry James Montgomery

Jerry James Montgomery, 67 of Wentzville, Mo., passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024.

He was born in St. Louis, Mo., on January 8, 1957 to Dolly Opal (Rutledge) Montgomery & the late James Arthur Montgomery.

Jerry was a father & grandfather, brother, uncle, friend & a loving husband to Linda Ann (Hicks) Montgomery. They were married for 28 years. Jerry had one daughter, Tabitha from a previous marriage.

Jerry worked at Schnucks in the Receiving Department for over 38 years. He enjoyed life, hunting, motorcycling, and driving his jeep.

Jerry is survived by his mother Dolly Opal (Rutledge) Montgomery of St. Peters, by his wife Linda Montgomery of Wentzville, daughter Tabitha and her husband Emil Morgan of St. Peters, and their daughter Isabel, one sister Kathy and her husband Kevin Richter of St. Peters, with their children Kimberly Richter and companion Mike Flanagan of St. Peters, and Daniel Richter with his wife Sarah, their children Maxwell and Reilly of Moscow Mills, one step-daughter Tiffany and her husband Curt Loyd and their children Courtney, Khole, Kaylee and Tommy of Old Monroe, as well as many other family and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother Tony Ray Montgomery and one step-daughter Lindsay Dawn File.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later time.
