Jesse James Goodpaster

Jesse James Goodpaster, age 69, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017 in Bridgeton, Missouri. He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 14, 1947 to Clay and Ella Goodpaster (nee Letcher). Jesse loved to go fishing with his family and follow sports, and served honorably in the Air Force from 1966-1970.
Survivors include his Sons, Geoff N. Goodpaster of Des Peres, MO, and Chris (Crissy) Goodpaster of Webster Groves, MO; a Brother, Danny (Chris) Goodpaster of Lexington, KY; his Former spouse, Karen Goodpaster of St. Peters, MO; and a Grandson, Grayson Goodpaster.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bobby Goodpaster; a sister, Betty Griffin; and a granddaughter, Grace Goodpaster.
A Celebration of Jesse's life will be Friday, May 12, 2017, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at The Pavilion at Lemay, 305 Gregg Road, (In Jefferson Barracks Park), St. Louis, MO 63125.
Graveside services, with Military Honors, will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.
